Our Vision
A Global Family with sites in London, Peterborough, Lagos and Calgary, our church is a vibrant international network of believers. Leadership
At Great Light Church (GLC), leadership is anchored in service, vision, and spiritual growth. It is steadfastly committed to making the gospel of Christ accessible and impactful to all.
Guided by prayer, stewardship, and unity, the GLC leadership team works collaboratively to expand God’s kingdom in both reach and influence.
Pastor Ope Awolesi, Head and Senior Pastor, founded GLC in 2010, answering a divine call. His leadership is fueled by a passion for spiritual and personal development. Serving alongside him is his wife, Pastor Janet Awolesi who focuses on empowering women and fostering growth both within the church and in the workplace, while remaining dedicated to GLC’s mission.
Together with a team of ministers, the leadership at GLC fosters an environment of support and growth. The ministers are approachable and always available to provide guidance, making GLC a nurturing community where every individual is encouraged to thrive.
